YOUNG JEWISH LEADERSHIP PAC ENDORSES CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE LEE ZELDIN

NEW YORK – The Young Jewish Leadership PAC today endorsed Lee Zeldin the Republican Congressional candidate for New York’s 1st District.

“Lee Zeldin, a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve, is an American who has served his country at every step of his career and, while stationed in Iraq, witnessed firsthand the degradations committed by the forces of Islamic terrorism that threaten the United States, it allies and those who love freedom everywhere,” stated Young Jewish Leadership PAC Chairman Lawrence Scheer. “The state of Israel, which for years has been subjected to Islamic terrorism, would find a friend and staunch ally in Lee at this incredibly important time in American and world history – a time when Democratic presidential candidates have said that they would be willing to meet with anti-Semites and America-haters, like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the leaders of Syria, without any preconditions attached” Scheer said.

The YJLPAC’s Press Officer, Boris Noble, also stated that “Lee’s opponent, Tim Bishop, would continue more of the same broken policies that many in the Democratic Party have adopted. Tim Bishop voted to continue the US’ huge contributions to the UN – an
organization known for its anti-American and anti-Israel bias. He voted against the ability of local jurisdictions to deal with immigration law breakers and he voted against the border security act which called for the protection of Americans from smugglers and other groups that could possibly cooperate with Islamic terrorists. It is well known that al-Qaeda has tried to infiltrate America through many means, legally and illegally, across its borders. In dangerous times like this, it is key that we have people like Lee Zeldin in Congress.”

We need to rally around people with honor and integrity like Lee Zeldin and it is for this reason that the YJLPAC endorses Lee Zeldin as the best candidate to serve the people of the 1st Congressional District of the State of New York.
