A: Dues to YJLPAC DC are $125 a year.
Q: How can I pay my dues ?
A: Dues can be paid by check or credit card. Credit Card donations can be made online. Checks can also be handed over in person to any board member at any YJLPAC DC event.
Q: I work on the Hill where I am underpaid, is there a discount for Hill staff ?
A: Yes, Congressional staffers can pay a discounted rate of $75 for a full membership.
Q: How much of my dues go to candidates ?
A: ALL OF IT. YJLPAC board members work on a volunteer basis and do not accept any compensation for their work. All of the expenses of the PAC are paid for by donors who specify that their money is to pay for administrative costs.
Q: During Allocations last year I noticed some people got more than one vote. How can I get more than one vote ?
A: While a regular membership allows you one vote, a gold membership for $250 will allow you two votes. A diamond membership for $500 allows you four votes in the allocations process. YJLPAC DC does not allow any member to have more than four votes.
Q: If I pay my membership dues and can not make the allocations meeting, is there a method by which I can vote ?
A: Yes, you can vote by proxy.
Q: How do I know if I am eligible to contribute to YJLPAC DC ?
A: Check with the Federal Election Commission.
Q: I saw that Hill Staffers get $50 off their dues, is there any way I can get a discount ?
A: There are some discounts available you should check with either the Chairman or Vice Chair Finance to ask about them.
